Pls. help....if f(x) = g(x) + c, then f(x) = g(x) ..true/false...if false..give example..pls. pls. helllppp...?

If f(x) = g(x) + c, then f(x) cannot equal g(x). They differ by a constant.

I'm wondering if this is actually the question or if you missed something. Check it again - if there's something missing, try posting the question again.Pls. help....if f(x) = g(x) + c, then f(x) = g(x) ..true/false...if false..give example..pls. pls. helllppp...?
false. if f(x)=g(x)+3, then to get g(x) by itself you would have to subtract 3 from BOTH sides, not just one. so the new equation would read f(x)-3=g(x)...meaning that f(x) cannot equal g(x)

Hope this helps!
