Would this statement be true or false : a +or- c < b +or- c assuming that a<b and c<0?

how would I find out if a statement is true or notWould this statement be true or false : a +or- c %26lt; b +or- c assuming that a%26lt;b and c%26lt;0?
It is fairly easy to figure out.

We know that a %26lt; b

We also know that as long as we add the same value to both sides, we have the same inequality. So

a + c %26lt; b + c - regardless of what c is

Similarly we can say

a - c %26lt; b - c - once again no matter what the value is!

I hope that helps!
