too much twisting and lack of oxygen in a vag birthC-Sections are SAFER then a vag birth true or false?
i've had 3 c sections give me a c section any dayC-Sections are SAFER then a vag birth true or false?
i think your in denial... c- sections are NOT less risky. i know this because my mother in law delivers babies for a living for the past 30 years.

It depends on the situation. If either the baby and/or the mother are in danger of not surviving a vaginal birth, then a C-section would be advisable. Otherwise, the vaginal birth is safer as the C-section is a major operation.
That is so ridiculous. When did women suddenly lose the ability to give birth for cripes sake?!!
A C-section is major invasive surgery...and ALWAYS a health risk.
False
a c-section is major surgery. our bodies are made to deliver vag. babies have been born for thousands of years naturally. whoever is telling you c-section is safer is either misinformed or wants to make more$$. the way the medical system is set up, people make more $$ off women having c-sections, so it would make sense for women to be told it's better for us. the reality is it's major surgery... would you want unnecessary major surgery any other time of your life? don't get me wrong there is definitely a time and place for a c-section
FALSE. If they're necessary to save the life of the baby or Mom, then they need to be done. But for routine births, vaginal is better and safer for both Mom and baby.
We have a neonatologist attend all C-sections because of the increased risk to the infant. They don't have the fluid expelled from their lungs like vaginally born babies do.
The increased risk to the Mom is clear - it's major surgery, and carries risks of infection, poor wound healing, bleeding, uterine atony, anesthesia-related risks... the list goes on.
Both forms of delivery carry risks, but vaginal birth is safer.
Absolutely not. A c-section is a major operation and carries far more risk than a natural birth. Recovery time is also much longer, and there is a much higher risk of infection. A section should only be done when medically indicated - and even a breech birth or twins are not necessarily reasons for an automatic caesarean.
Think about it - a vaginal birth involves just the mother and father at home with the midwife. A c-section involves an anaesthetist, operating theatre, at least one surgeon, nurses, etc, all scrubbed up... doesn't that tell you something? C-Sections are also a huge drain on NHS resources and should only be performed when necessary, never because the mother doesn't fancy all that pushing. If you didn't want to give birth, don't get pregnant!
if the baby is bottom down than true
also it is shorter
but there can be complications
no, they're not safer, because they involve cutting the mom open while vaginal birth doesn't.
however, c-sections mean the baby doesn't have to rub his face all over his mom's vagina, which is nasty and traumatic. Plus, the it doesn't get all stretched out by the baby's enormous noggin.
False, any major surgery could have complications.
Yes and no.
They don't put as much stress on the baby but, if the doctor puts your organs back wrong or staples the wrong area, you could have major complications later that could require additional surgieries.
Keep that in mind, seriously.
to the baby maybe but not the mom
100% False, Any doctor will tell you this.
people are fatter now a days
False, both have complications involved that could end your life.
Depends on the situation. I have seen some vaginal c/s, when baby is not positioned just right or is too big.
