True or false? Because a+b/c = a/c + b/c, then c/a+b = c/a+c/b ?

Determine whether the statement is true or false. Justify answer.

2.) If a%26lt;b, then 1/a %26lt; 1/b, where a does not equal b or 0True or false? Because a+b/c = a/c + b/c, then c/a+b = c/a+c/b ?
1) It's false. Counterexample: let a = b = c = 1. Then,

c/(a + b) = 1/(1 + 1) = 1/2, but

c/a + c/b = 1/1 + 1/1 = 1 + 1 = 2.

2) This is also false. The correct statement should be:

If a %26lt; b, then 1/a %26gt; 1/b (a, b != 0)

Counterexample to the given statement:

2 %26lt; 3, but 1/2 %26lt; 1/3 is false.True or false? Because a+b/c = a/c + b/c, then c/a+b = c/a+c/b ?
1. FALSE

2. FALSE
false and false.
